Meet Charlotte

Physio Me was established in 2008, providing a community Physiotherapy service, treating people in their own homes. Charlotte is the driving force behind Physio Me, bringing together decades of clinical expertise with a genuine passion for helping people.

Charlotte graduated with a 1st class honours degree in Physiotherapy from Coventry University. She completed her junior rotations before starting a senior post in community practice treating patients with neurological and respiratory conditions. She then went on to become a clinical specialist in Cardiorespiratory physiotherapy.

Charlotte is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and also the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Respiratory Care (ACPRC).

Alongside her clinical work, Charlotte began lecturing at the University of Leicester in 2012. She is the Head of the Jo Williams Clinic, Deputy Head of the School of Healthcare — Director of Citizenship & EDI and Practice Education Lead for the School. Charlotte has completed her PGCAPP, Master of Education and has a Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA).

Working both clinically and in education allows Charlotte to combine her passion for physiotherapy and healthcare education with excellent patient care.
